I’m Self-Discovery Consulting, a licensed Mental Health Service Provider based in Huntsville, AL - here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. 

LaShawn is well versed in options that can enhance change.  Having obtained certifications as a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapist, a Clinically Certified Forensic Counselor, a Juvenile Sexual Offending Counselor, as well as a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider I am capable of assisting with behavior regulation and modification. Experience and training in treating eating disorders, mood and personality disorders along with the symptoms that can derive from those disorders have allowed competence and proficiency in treating those disorders. Having completed professional training in DBT, as well as experience in facilitating multi-family groups. Being a behavioral, person-centered, solution-focused therapist, I understand the importance of tailoring interventions to suit each client’s needs.
